Here's the "I'm an idiot" question of the day.

I own my car. I know this for a fact. It was previously in my father’s name but one day we trooped down to the DMV and we signed some things and now it’s mine.

So….where is my title? Am I supposed to have it? I’m pretty good about keeping all that stuff but I’m pretty sure I have no actual paper title. Maybe my dad has it. Or are titles electronic things now? God I’m an idiot.

EDIT: UHHH this is supposed to be on my personal blog.  SO let’s make this DC related: my boyfriend won’t live with me in my future place (Adams Morgan) but he and his car may stay overnight sometimes.  I heard that they will probably ticket him once they see his car every once in a while.  Is this true? If so, is it possible to get around that somehow?
