Got an awesome heads up that D.C. has a great and organized GIS database and decided to check it out. I love cities that have a department dedicated to GIS. It gives me feels. D.C.’s road file included every single road in the D.C. area. But other than some selecting by attribute and exporting data, I didn’t have to do much.
As always, input is always appreciated. Also, any info on cities or states that have dedicated GIS deparments and great GIS data available would be also appreciated.
Happy Superbowl Sunday!

I did some computer support for Tampa GIS dept. also, Pinellas county, FL has a nice online GIS tax db.
